hot days...!

Played with the water table on our patio.

This weather is insane...!

We've have consecutive days over 80 degrees...even over 90 degrees!

Normally I would love it but this year, I'm just not feeling it.

I miss the rain and the temperature in the 70's.

お家でまた水遊びです。

暑い日がよく続いてます。

普段はこういうお天気は好きなんだけど、今年は本当に嫌。

いくらなんでも暑過ぎ！シアトルの雨は何処へ行ったの？

もっと涼しいお天気に戻って欲しい。

チョコひげ。 Chocolate beard

きゃはは！

カイに初めて自分のチョコアイスをあげました。

そしたらこの通り、チョコだらけ。

So for the first time I gave Kai his very own chocolate ice cream cone.

I normally give him a bite or two.

I just let him go at it and he grew an epic chocolate beard!

We headed to the downtown park and it's already decked out in July 4th flags！

Then we picked up a lego set at the Lego Store.

This is from "The Lego movie", a family favorite.

It's still a bit difficult for Kai but he helped mommy.

But now mommy might be addicted...This was so much fun!

I want more....

カイにはまだ難しいけどママと一緒に作ったよ。

逆にママが超はまった！もっと作りたい...

NO!!! Coffee spill...

げっ！嘘でしょ？！

ついにやられました...

ママが見てないすきにスタバのコーヒーこぼされた。

うわ～どうしよう！

しかもモカだったからなかなかおちないぞ。

Gah!!! it finally happened....

While I was away for just one second, Luka found my starbucks cup and 

spilled my mocha.  It got all over his face and carpet....

he doesn't seem to mind though.

Lookie! I discovered another water fountain the kiddos can splash in.

I went to buy some tickets for Jurassic World in advance and strolled around the plaza.

I let them play for a good 40 minutes.

"Woah..!"

Someone is fascinated by the Starbucks straw!

And no worries, there was NO coffee in this cup..This was an iced water ^_^

Daddy's Birthday ♥

10日はパパの誕生日！

風船はカイが選んだよ！

Daddy's birthday is on the 10th, yay!

Kai helped me pick out the balloons this year.

ママからのプレゼント。

ヘッドフォン、おつまみにビールで味付けたペーナッツ、そしてビールで作るケーキらしい。

ビール好きのパパにはぴったり。

そして週末はデート！

「ジュラシック’ワールド」を見に行きます！楽しみ♥

Gifts from me!

I got James a brand new headphone...a nice one too!

His current one at works is falling apart so this should be a nice upgrade.

I also found some interesting snacks--Irish Stout Peanuts and some craft beer cake mix.

Hmmm...interesting.

But perfect for beer-loving James!

Happy Birthday!!!

O, and don't forget date night this weekend.

We're gonna see "Jurassic World" ♥

知らぬ間にルカがこのポーズで寝てしまいました。

I didn't even realize Luka was sleepy....but he was sitting on the couch and the next thing I know, he fell asleep like this...on his face!

I had to fix him so he could breathe better.

She's much stronger than I am...and those screws were hard to get it!

It's our 2nd visit to 'Katsu Burger', a Japanese style hamburger shop.

They offer various types of french fries...I picked the seaweed/salt one.

It's delicious.

National Donut Day ♥

Yesterday was National Donut Day!

Krispy Kreme was giving out free donuts, 1 per person so you guessed it, we went and got some!

昨日は「ドーナッツの日」でした！

なのでKRISPY KREMEがただでドーナッツを配ってました。

一人一個でママとカイ貰ってきたよん。

ルカは来年貰おうね。

やっぱりルカ欲しがってた。

Botanical Garden ♥ (Part 1)

ボタニカル・ガーデンに行って来ました！

天気が良くてすてきな一日になった。

皆でお散歩＆ハイキング。

今度ばぁばと一緒に行きたいね！

We checked out the Botanical Gardens.

I've been curious about this place for a while now and we finally decided to go.

It's a beautiful garden (some are Japanese inspired) and never-ending trails throughout the park.

I loved it and we should come more often!

Kai loved it.  He was running around all day.

The hiking trails were 'stroller-friendly' so we will be back for sure!
