pyramid

Final day of Gymnastics camp for Kai!
They attempted the pyramid!

He loved the class and gained some confidence.
I'm glad we got to try out a few sports over the summer--so far he really enjoys basketball.
I signed him up for some soccer next so we'll see what he decides to stick to.

Yo-kai Watch

Yo-kai watch fever!
Yokai-watch is like the new Pokemon.  A new Japanese cartoon (available on Netflix!) that the kids are obsessed with.  I've never seen the show and I'm not sure how it works but I think you capture monsters with the watch? I don't know....
Well, Milo started to play with the watch so this is him catching monsters on the refrigerator.

Free car wash!

Once a year the local car wash will do a 'Free Car Wash' Day!
Of course I'm in!
And after the smoky/hazy days we had, my car needed a good cleaning.
I decided to video the kiddo's reactions.
O ya, Milo is now front facing!

play date♥

We had a hisashiburi play date at a friend's house.
Milo was being so quiet and silly--he preferred to play alone and explore their toys.

Playing with a doll house.

Milo from afar...
I mean c'mon! We built a giant fort and he still wanted to play alone.

Stamp party!

Jigsaw Mania!!

Forget those baby wooden puzzles...Milo likes the real deal!
Milo wanted a new Nemo puzzle (specifically Nemo).
I was surprised when I tried to help him and he yelled at me!
He can figure it out all by himself.
Both Luka and Milo are really into puzzles.

Here's Luka proudly showing off his skills...
This is a double sided puzzle which makes it even harder to solve.
He did this all himself!

So we went and got a 100 piece jigsaw for Luka.
Guess what? He finished it that day!
So we're off to get him the next big challenge...a 300 piece puzzle for hims to solve himself!
Stay tuned!

Toy explosion....!

So this happened....I have this giant bean that I keep filled with a lot of our stuffed animals.
Well...Milo figured out how to unzip it and as I was doing stuff in the kitchen I came over to find this! He emptied it all out and made a crazy pile of stuffed toys!!

Look at that smile! He's so proud of himself!

O boy.....
It took me a while to put them all back in.

Gymnastics camp for Kai

I enrolled Kai in a gymnastics camp for a week.

He had so much fun!

home depot - vrooooom!

Goofing around--we were at Home Depot in search for a new Dishwasher.
We are finally getting it replaced!

Vroom vroooooom!!!!

MoPop museum - Pearl Jam exhibit

So we got invited to go visit the MoPop museum with Auntie Erika!
(Pearl Jam exhibit)
I decided to bring just one kiddo this day--Luka!
For cheap reasons.... He's still 4 and he gets Free Admission!
And also for some one on one quality time♥
Here we are in Seattle waiting outside Auntie's apartment.
Where is she??

Luka appreciates new things and was quite curious about the things we saw.
He especially liked seeing all the broken guitars!
O...and these creepy masks!

Hiiiii!!!

♥♥One of my favorite posters♥♥

There was also a huge board for signing your name.
I signed for me and Luka

We also had my old guest passes so we were able to enjoy the Marvel exhibit again for free!
Auntie had never been so we decided to add that to our visit.
Luka was happy to see Spiderman again.

Probably Luka's favorite moment--getting some food!

O and there was randomly a balloon art installation.
Luka was afraid to go in there himself so I went with him to get a picture.

Luka's last soccer - Mini game!

Filmed some of Luka's last soccer class.
(This was on one of the smoky days)

And here's a small soccer game.  It was so cute seeing a group of Preschoolers play a proper soccer game.  Go team Yellow!

Brother came for support!

We even checked out a nearby park.

It's also knows as the "Train Park" because of the nearby historic train museum.
During the summer they have an orange trolley that you can ride (for free sometimes!)
but on this day we had other plans.

Chalk Art festtival

Heading to the Town Center!

Here they  have an annual Chalk Art Fest.
The finished art is really cool.
But this was the first day so not much has been drawn yet.

Got some treats for the kiddos.
Our favorite donut shop!

5am

It was 5am...James left for work earlier than usual to finish up some things.
Then around 530 Milo sensed it...
He woke up and searched all around the house looking for Daddy.

He woke me up so we both headed downstairs and bundled up and I let him watch some early morning cartoons.
It was so sweet though.  He missed his Daddy and he was looking for him.

Last day of Basketball♥

Kai loved it!
He received a purple ribbon and I'm so proud of him!
I witnessed some good games from this guy.

Thank you Coach!

During Kai's class I did some chasing with Luka.
Milo was napping in the stroller.

Smokey days....

Hard to tell but we've been dealing with SMOKE in the air for DAYS!
Air quality has been unhealthy for a while.
I tried to stay indoors as much as possible.
(This day we took a short walk to the Library to return some books)
Can you tell it's a bit smoky in the background?

All the smoke came from the wildfires happening all around our state.
This is the second year it's happened and they're now saying that it could become the norm.
I sure hope not...I had serious eye issues from it.

New Keyboard

I decided to replace my old keyboard for a better one.
A girly pink one because...why not?

So what happened to the old one?
It's a toy for the kids now!
Here's Milo typing up a resume...

And here's Luka in his office.
He set up his own workspace.
