tsum tsum love !

It's not just me!

Luka loves my Tsum Tsums--maybe even more than I do!

Every day he tells me "Let's play Zoom Zoom Mommy! Let's play on the floor!"

His favorites are Tigger and Goofy.

And when you play hard, this happens...

How incredible is this!

I moved him after I took pictures so he wouldn't fall.

Zoo Day !

We visited our local zoo on Sunday♥

It was HOT!

Last time we visited, Luka was just born.

Now he can enjoy feeding the animals.

They had fun!

近所の動物園に行ってきました。

近くで、小さくてきれいな動物園。

ルカが赤ちゃん以来。今回は動物達にエサをあげました！

They wore their Zootopia shirts!

二人そろって「ズートピア」のTシャツ。

At the top of the zoo, you can get a great view!

And if you go even higher, you can see Lake Sam.

It's gorgeous!  Lots of boats were out.

More swim practice ♥

This time I brought my 'good camera' instead of my outdated 'phone camera', so the quality is a bit better.  We've had super hot days back in May but we have been unlucky this first week of swim class...nothing but clouds. (And today we had some rain!) Poor kids are freezing when they get out of the pool!

Daddy takes long lunches to come out and see Kai swim!

And it helps me out too...

Next week is the last week for this 'session'.  I decided to continue Kai with the swim classes!

I'm just so happy he fell in love with it♥ 

Now seriously, let's get some sun!!

Tsum Tsums ♥

Anyone else familiar with Tsum Tsums?

Tsum tsum comes from the Japanese word 'tsumu', which means to 'stack'.

Well, Disney has been/is releasing their entire Disney world characters as a tsum and I'm obsessed...

They started out with super cute plush tsum tsum dolls but I don't have space for that.

These vinyl tsum tsums though...well, they are smaller, cute, cheaper and the kids love to play with it too! 

最近ママはディズニーの「ツムツム」にはまってます。

出来れば全部集めたいな～。

ルカも気に入ったみたいで、一緒に遊んでます。

ディズニーキャラクターの名前とかも覚えてきたよ。

Luka is learning all the Disney character's names!  And he loves to line them up and stack them..just as they are meant to be! Also, instead of 'tsum tsum' he calls them 'zoom zoom'.

"Mommy, look at my 'zoom zoom' tower."

ルカが言うには、ツムツムじゃなくてズムズムらしいです。

これあは「ズムズム」のタワー。

"Mommy, 'zoom zoom' Tigger and Goofy is taking a nap,"

そしてこれは「ズムズム」が昼寝をしているところだそうです。

Sometimes when Kai and Luka are napping together, Milo and I will hang out in the kitchen.

He's a good sitter!

Kai starts swim class !

I signed Kai up for swim class this summer.

This is the (age) 3-5 class and it's a total beginner class...perfect!

Each class is 30 minutes and each session is 2 weeks long.

I was worried at first if he would even participate...and just as I predicted, he was shy and refused to go in.  I had to slowly ease him into it.  Once he got in the water, he was on his own and fully enjoyed it!  I was originally just going to try only one session...but if he really likes this, then I might sign him up for the next courses too, all throughout the summer!

今年の夏は水泳クラス！

カイを入れてみました。

最初はシャイで嫌がってたけど、ちゃんと一人で入って、楽しんでたよ！

Also, I didn't bring my 'good camera' so the video quality is horrible...I really need to get a newer phone.

Happy Birthday Daddy !

Daddy's 33rd Birthday was on Friday!

Yay!!

Out shopping for Daddy gifts...we picked up a birthday card and some balloons♥

Had the kids help paint a mug.

It looked nice until Luka started mixing the black paint into everything...

Now it's an explosion of fun!

Kai helped me sprinkle the choco-flakes and picked out the strawberries.

Kai's Last Day of Preschool...!!

I can't believe it...the school year is over!

Kai finished his first year of Preschool and I gotta say...it went by Fast!

We had a playground picnic today.

今日はプリスクールの最終日。

一年があっという間に過ぎました。

These are Kai's awesome teachers...He loves them and so do I♥

We can't wait to see them again next year when Kai starts Pre-K !

皆とても優しくていい先生です。

Kai answered: Art studio and to play with Arin (another classmate).

Luka and I (& Milo) went out for a morning date while Kai was in school...

Goodbye Giant Rental Van !

Unrelated post but....

We FINALLY got our car back since the accident a few weeks ago..!

Repairs took a while, parts needed to be ordered, etc.

We got it back tonight and we're so glad it's over...

We were driving around in a rental van the past few weeks and honestly I didn't like it.

It was too big...didn't fit in our garage comfortably.  And in the city, parking spots are tight.

I'm all about the compact cars.

So anyways, to celebrate, here's a farewell photo we took in the giant rental van.

Ta-ta, van!

車の事故から数週間。今日やっと 修理が終わって愛車が戻ってきました！

修理中はドデカいレンタカーで、正直嫌いでした。

アメリカ車のワゴンは本当に大きい！私は小型派です。
