Super Mario Maker 2!

So if you aren't familiar with this--Nintendo came out with a new game called Super Mario Maker 2 and basically allows the player to design their own game/level!!

It's really cool and looks complex and the kids love it.  (I have yet to try it)

So Luka and Kai have been 'designing' their own game levels.

 I love the creativity the game brings out!

The best part it Milo's game plan.

I love that he's inspired by his brothers and does everything he can to keep up with them!

One of these 3 boys will sure grow up to be a game designer...perhaps?

An emotional Milo

 I forget why he was emotional but he drew this very intricate design the other day.

He told me it was a skull.

(Kinda dark....)
But I liked it so much, I bought a frame for it the next day.

And can you tell he was crying?

It's mid-winter break for the kids so we went to visit Grandma and Grandpa♥

Othello is a fun game I grew up playing.

Milo call it "Banana Game" but he loves to play it.

Milo loves to rock in this rocking chair.

We don't see Grandpa too often but Milo really enjoys hanging out with him.

Luka Doodles

My little artist!

I found some googly eye stickers so I got them.

Luka immediately pounced on them and started doodling.

So the story goes... The little guy with the red glasses (and lashes) is Luka.

The two big guys next to him are statues!

and the small guy at the top...well that's daddy!

Milo loves requesting James to draw for him.

Halloween Eve!

Twas the night before Halloween and Milo and I were roaming a local bookstore.

We found some fun books!

Is Milo also a future artist?

He drew "Batman" and it looks pretty good for a 2 year old!

Kai had a party at school.

He's rocking his awesome pumpkin shirt.

And look at all those fall leaves!

We've been very artsy lately...

Milo and Luka started drawing out some spooky drawings!

Luka drew a frankenstein and zombies...and even Milo!

He drew a zombie with a beard!

We didn't get to a Pumpkin Patch this year but we found this at Trader Joe's!

Milo's current favorite toy...(it changes a lot) Buzz Lightyear.

He started doodling a lot lately and the art looks similar to Luka's style of drawing.

Luka wrote a book!

Luka got out of school and was so excited to share with me a book he made that day!

And one of Luka's art drawings made it up on the class wall!

Reading!

The kiddos love to read! and I mean all of them!

Kai loves to read of course and he's a great reader--and now Luka picked up on reading!

He can already read full books! (He looks up to his brother♥)

And of course Milo is trying to read now too.

This was a couple weeks ago when the kids were all a little sick with a cold.

Reading is always a great at-home activity.

He even fell asleep with his Moana book.

O, and I wanted to share this cute doodle.

I wanted to share some new doodles by him.

And these are only a select few...He draws everyday. 

I literally have a giant stack of doodles by him.

I really like this one...he copied the title of a book Kai borrowed from his school library.

But his handwriting is so good (I think) for a fresh 4 year old.

Not bad!

I took this photo of Luka with his art and Milo insisted I take one of him too.

He then posed exactly as Luka did...SO.CUTE!

And he even spelled out my name!

Milo joined in too and he told me he drew "Nemo" which means he drew a fish!
