1 year check-up...!

知らないうちにカイがひらがなの書き方を覚えていた！

びっくりした。

I downloaded a free Hiragana app on my iPad a while back and Kai would play it every once in a while.  Didn't realize he was learning so much from it--he learned how to write!

And he knows all of the letters. 

I guess tablets can help kids learn!

I gifted one to my Grandmother over Christmas and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the mug so I went ahead and made myself a mug ♥

Kai used to be a bit messy with it when he was younger but by now he mastered it!

Which is why I was surprised to find THIS face in the back of my car when we got home.

OOooh~ excited about these!

These are popular but expensive.  They are wooden blocks with magnets inside.

It looks like they partnered with CL for a small sample set of 4 blocks.

If Kai loves it, we can get more.  But I think he'll have fun with just these.

I haven't given Kai any 'candy' yet...he's had chocolate but I really don't want to start on candy just yet.  But I figured he's gotta start someday right?
