Downtown park + Ducks!

Decided to go into downtown--I usually avoid it now since it's so busy but the park is quite amazing.

Snowflake Lane♥

Every year in Downtown, there's a festive Parade called Snowflake Lane.

(It started about 10 years ago...and over the years it has become a huge event!)

It was so crowded...but the kids had fun♥

I carried Milo so he could see the parade.

We didn't have front row seats.

We found a polar bear!

O boy...as soon as the parade was over, we were hit with a hailstorm.

Then the mall was just PACKED with every stroller waiting for the elevator.  

We decided to play at Macy's until the crowd died down...

O! and look what James found at the Amazon book store!

Botanical Garden ♥ (Part 1)

ボタニカル・ガーデンに行って来ました！

天気が良くてすてきな一日になった。

皆でお散歩＆ハイキング。

今度ばぁばと一緒に行きたいね！

We checked out the Botanical Gardens.

I've been curious about this place for a while now and we finally decided to go.

It's a beautiful garden (some are Japanese inspired) and never-ending trails throughout the park.

I loved it and we should come more often!

Kai loved it.  He was running around all day.

A rock tower. 

We spotted a rabbit!

We found a few Gnome houses.

Very cute.

Patches and patches of giant clovers.

Hmmm...I wonder if there's a 4 leaf clover somewhere in there.

A mystery door.  Kai-size.

Amazing day.  

The hiking trails were 'stroller-friendly' so we will be back for sure!

Snowflake Lane 2014...♥

This year was the 10th Anniversary of the Snowflake Lane♥

I swear it gets more crowded year after year...

Again, I was too short and couldn't see the parade.

But it was festive and very pretty!

Kai didn't seem to enjoy it though...I think it was too loud.

Kai wasn't having it...

 

Kai loves the Disney store at the mall.

We spent a good half hour or so there, watching disney shows on their giant screen.

I was browsing around when I found this!

A Wall-E plush doll!

They never carry Wall-E goods!  

It was $10 so I decided to get it anyway...and turns out it was only $5!

we went to the Downtown Bellevue Park for the day.

didn't stay for the fireworks but we got some food and checked out the family fun zone!
