Monster Hands

We've been exploring Halloween departments at stores lately...and Luka is all about monsters!

A lot of monsters tend to use their hands to scare you so here's Luka's version.

We were having fun with some silly filters.

The pumpkins are out!!

The kids (especially Luka) love to check out all the Halloween crafts and costumes/displays.

I don't mind taking them because it's my favorite holiday too!

The motion activated monster displays are Luka's favorite. 

It scares him but afterwards he'll talk about it ALL DAY.

Haircut !

It's that time again!

Kai's hair grew long really fast..!

It was time for a haircut♥

He looks like a boy from the 70's!

We decided on a different look--keep the top longer and shorter on the sides and back.

(He has a weird cowlick on the top of his head so it looks strange when it's short)

iPhone ♥

So...I'm now in the Apple club...

I got my first iPhone 7 last week.

I've been an Android user and I had my last smartphone for 5 years...

It's a nice change!

My old phone had a horrible camera and the video quality was even worse..

But here's some photos I took with the new phone!

We found a giant Totoro in Seatlle...and Kai gave him a hug♥

Kai:  "I want pancakes!"

Daddy: "Ok! Pancakes...and what about you Luka? What do you want for breakfast?"

Luka: "Cass."

Daddy:  "Cass?"

Luka: "Cash."

Daddy: "Cash??"

Luka: "I want ten thousand dollars cash."

Daddy: "........."

I LOVE Halloween♥

My favorite holiday! 

And it's the holiday that starts all the holidays!

I picked up a jack-o-lantern kit to make with the kiddos.

Here's Kai's pumpkin.

He put everything on it!

It's his 'spider pumpkin'.

Luka wanted to make 2 pumpkins.

He did pretty good!

The right pumpkin is pretty cute.

I participated too...this one is mine.

I put them up on the wall...but then Luka didn't like it.

He got sad...he wanted me to pull his pumpkin down..

Sorry buddy...I didn't know!

I immediately took the pumpkin down for him...

Balloon kick

That balloon came from the party store.

There's a really cool party shop we like to go to when Halloween gets close.

They have awesome Halloween decor and monster animatronics!

Luka got scared...so a worker gave him a balloon to cheer him up♥

Then we went to pick up pizza and he decided to keep Milo entertained.

Backyard fun ♥

Probably the last sunny summery week!

After Kai's class, we drove up to visit Grandma & Grandpa.

Kai and Baba played some badminton!

The kiddos helped harvest some tomatoes.

Luka was eating them as he picked them off...and he didn't want to share.

This daredevil...He climbed up all on his own.

I can't even climb a ladder that high!

Kai is proud of his pickings.

Goofy Brothers

I caught them doing silly things...

First, Luka is goofing around during lunch/snack time..making Kai laugh.

Then they start wrestling...

Luka looks heavy!

Then I secretly tape them doing something sneaky in the corner...

Luka got a  hold of a black marker (washable...phew) and is drawing all over a book. 

(It washed off later...phew)

Almost there...

Milo has been on the floor practicing his 'crawling' skills a lot lately.

He tries to reach for toys and knows how to turn himself around.

I'm just waiting for those legs to start bending.

He's gonna be crawling all over the place!  o boy....

Another good nap.

I was sorting through my baby clothes bin...(we have three full bins).

Milo is growing out of his onesies so fast...plus I need some Fall outfits so I spent a good half-a-day organizing.  Then I found these! I also found a "My First Christmas" outfit that will surely fit Milo when the time comes.
