We went grocery shopping yesterday and some stores still have their Christmas decorations up.

To which Luka tells us:

"It's Santa's beard..! Stuck on the fence!"

昨日はスーパーでお買い物。

クリスマスの飾り物がまだあり、白い雪の飾り物を「サンタのヒゲ」と言うルカ。

大笑いです。

たしかにサンタさんの白いヒゲに見えるね！

Sleeping at the desk...

We caught him falling asleep...so I told him he should move to the sofa and lay down.

He didn't want to and decided to sleep here...

It's so cute!

We eventually moved him to his bed ^_^

Solo climbing...

Milo is blowing my mind...he is already climbing stairs all on his own.

Maybe it's a normal milestone for an 11 month old..but he's 'wow-ing' me because Luka was very delayed in the physical developments.  I make sure to stay right behind him but he's doing great!

Christmas Eve ♥

Well, it's the Eve of Christmas.

We are planning on visiting the Grandparents tomorrow so we decided to open a select few presents today...including our stockings!

This year they got their first 'Build-a-Bear' which I built with Kai.

Kai picked out the outfits.

Luka really loved his bear and decided to name it Elf.

Kai named his bear Kai.

A trip to the toy store

The kids wanted to go to the toy store today so I took them.

Had to run some errands anyway...

It was Christmas Eve and I was surprised how busy the store was!

A lot of people doing some last minute shopping.

Well...Luka claimed it and it's now his.

Milo climbs everything now!

He likes to climb up on this chair...and just yesterday he climbed the entire flight of stairs leading to our bedrooms, all by himself.  I made sure to stay behind him as his balance is still a bit wobbly.
