Milo's 3rd Birthday ♥♥♥

Prior to dinner, Luka came along to help Milo pick out some balloons.

Milo's current favorite color is yellow so we got everything yellow!

Basketball Practice ♥

Here are some snippets of Kai's basketball practice.

I signed him up for 1st grade Basketball League.

He is #6!

BaaBa!

For MLK day we went to visit Grandma since school was not in session.

Milo ate about 3 tangerines while there.

Grandma also measured his height. 

All the kids have grown since last time!

LEGO store

We went to the LEGO store and they had a few clearance items.

Luka wanted to build the Thanksgiving Turkey set so I went ahead and got if for him.

($4 is a steal!)

Milo was having fun building some Panda people.

Chocolate Mustache!

I'm pretty strict when it comes to junk food and sweets...but the kids do get an occasional ICE CREAM CONE♥♥♥

And of course chocolate is the best and they make the best mustaches!

Bookworm

Awww my sweet Kai...he LOVES to read and I love that he loves to read!

He gets off the bus with his newest library book in hand and continues to walk and read all the way home.

AND he loves Science books.

What a great subject!

It's even rubbed off onto his brother Luka!

Now Luka gets excited when Kai brings home a science book and they want to try all these experiments.  My little scientists♥

Sunny walk on the trails

So this is a Blue Heron.

Hard to get a scale from the video but it was quite large!

And Milo was stoked about his new LEGO set I got him... An early Birthday gift♥

This was so cute!

He told me "I want to take a picture with the fountain!" So I did and it's such a cute picture♥

When did he get so big?

He's not a baby anymore!!

Frost!

It was an icy morning!

Frost was all over the ground and we had fun walking all over it!

Then we stopped by our usual coffee shop for some...well...coffee and snacks.

Milo loves this little play area--his favorite is of course the train table♥

Bedtime storytime

It's amazing how well Luka can read already!

He's only 4 and still in Preschool but he can read almost any book.

Occasionally he will ask how to read a certain word but other than that, he's cruising through books!

He reads at a fast speed too...I'm still amazed!

How was your day?

I always ask Kai how his day at school was.  

It's usually "good!" and is followed by some exciting stories about school BUT the one day I decided to video him ...well...he got in a little trouble at school.

He's a bit of a class clown and loves to be silly and make others laugh in class but you can't do that all day while learning in class.  Learning is a time to be serious.

It's ok Kai...We all learn from our mistakes♥

Kiwi Crate Project #1 ::Arcade::

Yay!!

The kids received a subscription for a really cool DIY/Art project kit called "Kiwi Crate".

(Thank you PaPaw Steve!!♥)

The first kit we received was awesome!  

A build your own arcade.

First we made our pom pom monsters.

Daddy helped with making the claw and the kids decorated the box.

This was so much fun and the kids loved it!

Milo loved making the pom pom monsters that he wanted to make on in his favorite color, yellow.

We can't wait to make the next one!

LEGO master builders!!

Since the older boys have been building LEGO sets, Milo naturally caught on and LOVES playing with LEGOs now.  Here he built his own creation.

And the biggest master builder of them all, Luka is always building something new!
