A White Christmas!!

This year we had a rare white Christmas!
It started to snow on Christmas eve and there was talk about it possibly sticking to the ground.
(The weather forecast here is always iffy...)
Well we woke up to this much snow!
(For Seattle..this is an exciting amount!)

Kai was starting to get sick...so I took Luka outside to explore.
He loved it!

Luka built a snowman♥
I helped a little of course.

I'm hoping for more snow this winter!

Before the holidays kick into gear, we decided to get together for a last play date at the indoor play center!  The kids of course LOVED it!

We even climbed up to the very top and Milo had no fears!

Final holiday shopping

Some last minute holiday shopping.
Target had a fun prop..you take a photo and flip it around!
Now it looks like you're coming down from the chimney♥

The boys LOVE car toys...
I think they're eyeing some toys to get after Christmas.
(Thank you Pa-paw for the gift cards! The boys will have fun doing some self-shopping)

Space Needle

Luka brought me a drawing and told me it was the Space Needle!

Snowflake Lane♥

Every year in Downtown, there's a festive Parade called Snowflake Lane.
(It started about 10 years ago...and over the years it has become a huge event!)
It was so crowded...but the kids had fun♥

I carried Milo so he could see the parade.
We didn't have front row seats.

♥♥

We found a polar bear!

O boy...as soon as the parade was over, we were hit with a hailstorm.
Then the mall was just PACKED with every stroller waiting for the elevator.
We decided to play at Macy's until the crowd died down...

O! and look what James found at the Amazon book store!

Last week of School

It was the last week of school for both Kai and Luka.
Milo with his friend from the coffee shop♥

Ooooo I always get excited when the kids get a new book order!

Hot Chocolate♥

Wow! I have enough hot chocolate photos to make a post♥
Hot cocoa is definitely my favorite this time of year.
Here I am, on a date with Luka, getting a hot chocolate at the book store cafe.
I ask the barista to fill only half of the cup...

Sometimes we'll walk over to the Starbucks nearby to get a hot cocoa.
On this day, Milo fell asleep in the stroller...

The cafe was selling these cute snowflake marshmallows for hot chocolate.
So we got some and I made hot chocolate from scratch.

On a date with Kai this time...He got to enjoy some hot chocolate, complete with whipped cream!
YUM!

Christmas letters and crafts♥

Kai wrote his first letter to Santa!
He's been eyeing the new Nintendo Super Mario Odyssey game...so that's what he asked for♥

We got his teacher a Holiday card and he doodled himself and his teacher.
So sweet♥

They made Christmas cards at school and here's what he brought home!
It's a drawing of him and Mommy♥ awwww I teared up a little.

Luka has 3 Preschool teachers.
He wanted to make a card from scratch so he used lots of tape and (tried) writing his teacher's names and his name.  Good job Luka!

A mystery doodle by Luka...I forgot to ask him what this was.

I really love this one...Luka's doodle of himself as an astronaut.
How cool is this???  And did I mention he's only 3??

Kai had a fun week at Kindergarten.
They made a cool Christmas Tree with and ice cream cone and candy.
I wanted to keep it around for display but he wanted to eat it immediately...so he ate it...

And one day he came home with an elf hat!
I'm so happy he seems to be enjoying school♥

Luka's storytelling ♥

I believe this one is about gingerbread men and werewolves and pigs...
It's quite entertaining.

And this one is about crabs and a Frankenstein!
Very interesting!!
We have a storyteller!!

"Coco"

We saw the new Pixar movie 'Coco' last weekend!
This was Luka's first movie theater experience and he loved it!
He was in awe with the giant 'tv screen'.
Both were well-behaved.
And as an added bonus, Luka still qualified to get in for free!

We found an awesome candy machine inside!
