Our second Kiwi Crate box was called "Kaleidoscope Puzzle"

Christmas letters and crafts♥

Kai wrote his first letter to Santa!

He's been eyeing the new Nintendo Super Mario Odyssey game...so that's what he asked for♥

We got his teacher a Holiday card and he doodled himself and his teacher.

So sweet♥

They made Christmas cards at school and here's what he brought home!

It's a drawing of him and Mommy♥ awwww I teared up a little.

Luka has 3 Preschool teachers.

He wanted to make a card from scratch so he used lots of tape and (tried) writing his teacher's names and his name.  Good job Luka!

A mystery doodle by Luka...I forgot to ask him what this was.

I really love this one...Luka's doodle of himself as an astronaut.

How cool is this???  And did I mention he's only 3??

Kai had a fun week at Kindergarten.

They made a cool Christmas Tree with and ice cream cone and candy.

I wanted to keep it around for display but he wanted to eat it immediately...so he ate it...

And one day he came home with an elf hat!

I'm so happy he seems to be enjoying school♥

I bought some origami paper.

I used to make origami crafts a lot as a kid.

So I decided to make some for the kids...

I remember the crane, balloon, ninja star, frog...and this one!

It's an oldie ♥ you place it on a box and tap tap away!

It's Slime Time !

It was the craze a few months ago and the kids kept asking and asking for some slime.

So I decided to finally let them try it out.

I got a slime kit and we made some!

Luka was mesmerized!

Kai was the who really really wanted to try the slime.

But guess what? As soon as he touched it, he didn't like it.

He said it was gross and too sticky and wanted it all off!

Luka loved it though.

I even made some for myself.

Slime is kind of fun!

I LOVE Halloween♥

My favorite holiday! 

And it's the holiday that starts all the holidays!

I picked up a jack-o-lantern kit to make with the kiddos.

Here's Kai's pumpkin.

He put everything on it!

It's his 'spider pumpkin'.

Luka wanted to make 2 pumpkins.

He did pretty good!

The right pumpkin is pretty cute.

I participated too...this one is mine.

I put them up on the wall...but then Luka didn't like it.

He got sad...he wanted me to pull his pumpkin down..

Sorry buddy...I didn't know!

I immediately took the pumpkin down for him...

A Handmade Necklace♥

Awww I received a surprise gift from Kai♥

He made this card and necklace for me at Preschool.

O yea, it's Mother's Day this weekend!

Halloween crafts...!

Bought a couple Halloween Foam Kits from Michael's since they were on sale...and we had fun!

Kai wanted to build the Owl House.

I helped of course but he had fun!

It's mostly simple assembly and the decorations are all stickers.

yay!

i love Target...their after-holiday-clearance!

got a bunch of stuff, including bags of candy from 30~70% off!

i found this cute pom pom monster that you make.

i tried to get Kai to help me but he only helped for a few minutes.

he's so cute!

i now have a new halloween decoration to put out every year

also i got Kai a pair of skinny jeans and i like 'em.

he seems to like them too♥

正直もう夏は終わって欲しいです。

暑い！妊娠のせいか、この頃本当に暑さが嫌です。

kai, the artiste...!

i held the ipad in front of kai and he actually started to doodle a bit!

he was looking at the screen and i think he knew he was drawing...

he was mesmerized.

かいちゃんに iPADを見せたら、自分の手を見ながら描き始めたよ！

自分が描いてる事は知ってるのかな？顔が真剣でした。

tada~! here are his 2 pieces of work so far! 

yes yes, just random lines but it's still pretty interesting!

今日は何だか「手作り気分」！

なのでミシンと手縫いでちょっと遊んでみた。

KAIちゃんにモンスター人形を作りました！

あまり時間かけなかったから、てきとうに出来上がったけど・・・

一応モンスターです♥

まあ、なんとなく気に入ってるみたい。

ふ～　よかった！
