BUSY SUMMER Part 9

That time we brought out the water table and the kids had fun with water guns!

Kai and Luka would occasionally sit outside to read their favorite books.

Every few months we order books through Kai's school. 

Scholastics Book orders.

Our books came in this day and all the kids were in a reading mood--including Milo!

Milo even fell asleep with a book on his face!

Bookworm

Awww my sweet Kai...he LOVES to read and I love that he loves to read!

He gets off the bus with his newest library book in hand and continues to walk and read all the way home.

AND he loves Science books.

What a great subject!

It's even rubbed off onto his brother Luka!

Now Luka gets excited when Kai brings home a science book and they want to try all these experiments.  My little scientists♥

Bedtime storytime

It's amazing how well Luka can read already!

He's only 4 and still in Preschool but he can read almost any book.

Occasionally he will ask how to read a certain word but other than that, he's cruising through books!

He reads at a fast speed too...I'm still amazed!

Reading!

The kiddos love to read! and I mean all of them!

Kai loves to read of course and he's a great reader--and now Luka picked up on reading!

He can already read full books! (He looks up to his brother♥)

And of course Milo is trying to read now too.

This was a couple weeks ago when the kids were all a little sick with a cold.

Reading is always a great at-home activity.

He even fell asleep with his Moana book.

O, and I wanted to share this cute doodle.

7th tooth!

They keep falling out!

Kai recently lost his 7th tooth!!

In an effort to keep his reading and writing skills progressing over the summer, I had Kai start his own journal writing.  He writes and draws activities/things we did that day.

He's getting big!

Scholastic Book Order forms!!

I was ecstatic to learn that Scholastic Book Orders still exist!!

It's a monthly flier with a whole bunch of awesome books for awesome prices.

Everyone knows what it is...and I'm so happy it's still going on!

I'm hoping for a book fair too at some point.

Our first order!

I got books for Kai, Luka and Milo.  

It's gonna be so much fun growing our library.

I love Luka's sneezing performace!  

This is Kai's current favorite book, "The Berenstein Bears".

The nightly book-reading session has moved from Kai's bedroom to Mommy & Daddy's bedroom to accommodate for Luka's participation.
