BUSY SUMMER Part 19

The summer my kids got into Bey Blade...!

This was a huge hit this summer..not just my kids but everywhere.

They were sold out at stores constantly.

Here the kids are watching Bey Blade and singing the intro.

A fun Kiwi Crate project we made.

This might be one of my faves so far.

A science guy came to the library to do an experiment for kids.

Kiwi Crate - Capillary Action!

Oooo this was a fun kit!

"Capillary Action" taught us how liquid can be absorbed by fibers..much like a tree or a plant feeding on water!!  Luka was amazed!

You can even see Olive in the background!

This was one of my favorite Kiwi Crates I've helped with the kids.

Bookworm

Awww my sweet Kai...he LOVES to read and I love that he loves to read!

He gets off the bus with his newest library book in hand and continues to walk and read all the way home.

AND he loves Science books.

What a great subject!

It's even rubbed off onto his brother Luka!

Now Luka gets excited when Kai brings home a science book and they want to try all these experiments.  My little scientists♥

a science birthday party!

We attended a friend's birthday party and it was science themed!

The grand finale was the mentos+diet coke experiment!

It was also superhero-themed so Luka grabbed a cape and mask!

He wore it all weekend♥

I didn't bring Milo with me since we went tot he party after soccer and it would've been Milo's nap time.  Instead I brought home a cape and mask and he loved it♥

Kai didn't care to wear the cape or mask...so just the two little ones♥

Family Science Night ♥

Kai's Preschool held a 'Family Science Night' and we had a blast!

So many fun activities for the kiddos♥

This was Kai's favorite science experiment!

Luka got a taste of his future Preschool.

He starts this September!

Milo got to experience some Preschool fun too!

He was all about the shovels and sandbox.
