We got one sunny day this week.

An opportunity to go outside!

Luka likes to bring his snoopy backpack everywhere now.

play date ♥

Had a play date last week.

We have been getting nothing but rain for weeks now...and not just rain but depressing, gloomy rain.

We decided to meet up at an indoor play center and it was our first time.

This place was amazing!

Also, not pictured was a giant slide! and other fun rides.

Admission is a bit pricey but the kids loved it.

I would definitely come back.

I hope the kids got some energy out from being cooped up indoors.

It's been a gloomy few weeks...we got a bit of sunshine the other day but it's so COLD again!

Freezing...

We tried out a crepe shop here.

I've been curious about it and we finally decided to try it!

It was good but...too heavy.  I prefer the Japanese sweet crepes.

We're driving in the car on our way to pick up Kai.

Luka remembers our day at the mall with Auntie and starts talking about it.

Luka:  "And Auntie was driving in Baba's car, not auntie's car."

Me: "Ya, that's right. Auntie's car needs to be fixed."

Luka: "So she was driving in Baba's car.  And Baba has white hair."

Me: "Hahaha yes, she does!"

Luka: "Baba has white hair and I have black hair and Auntie has black hair and you have..black hair,"

Me: "Yes, we all have black hair.  What about Jiji??"

Kai's mini school project

In the past week, Kai brought home a school puppet to tag along with our adventures.

We kept a journal of all the fun things we did and would later be shared in class.

Luka really liked it.  He loves learning about Kai's school projects, etc.

We were able to spend some time outside, despite the awful rainy week.

Bounce party ♥

We attended a birthday party last weekend--an indoor bounce house!

And now that Luka is 3, I decided to bring him along♥

It was his first time and he had a blast!

Mommy had a blast too...as you can see, I'm jumping inside with Kai.

Most of the kids were older than Luka, so after some jumping, he decided to stay out of the bounce houses and played with balls and hula hoops. ^_^

Daredevil

I cautiously watched as he climbed up all by himself. 

I like that I can see his dimples from here.

Well, what a daredevil.  Climbing on anything and everthing!

Speech/Communication class

So Kai started up with some more speech/communication therapy to help him prepare for Kindergarten.  He has some challenges with 'Expressive Language'.

I'll have to get creative and bring some toys for next week.

Tsum tsum sub box for Feb♥

So I recently subscribed to a new Tsum tsum subscription box and Luka is my model.

We got a plushie from 'The Rescuers Down Under'.

It's so cute! But I've actually never seen it.

Luka claimed this for himself, of course.

And since Milo learned to climb up on that chair...he discovered my tsums!

In the process of getting ready in the morning.

Milo loves hanging out with Daddy when he's in the kitchen.

We found a cool Spiderman beanie in the clearance rack so Luka wanted it.

He decided to wear it (with the tags dangling) for the rest of the trip.

He figured out 2 ways to get onto the sofa.
