My attempt at a Christmas photo....
So I bought these cute Santa hats for the kids to wear...
Milo has a baby Santa hat from previous years.
I wanted to get a cute Christmas photo of all 3 boys...
Milo was napping so I started 'practice' with these two.
I got a few good shots but they were distracted and got bored fast!
Then Luka brings out Pua the pig...
"Let me put a hat on Pua" he says..
Alright!
Another photo session ensues...
Then Milo wakes up!
I took SO MANY photos of the 3...
I must've taken about 50.
And THIS was the only good photo..and even then, it's not the best.
I have a new respect for professional photographers who take amazing kid photos.
Group shots? forget it... I'm gonna have to try again another time.
It was fun though!

"My igloo house!"

Luka found a nook in the corner and claimed it...
He calls it his "igloo house".
And after playing in the 'igloo house'...he fell asleep.
I caught Milo trying to pry one of the ornaments off the tree.

2016 Christmas Advent Calendar - Day 13 ♥
Day 13 is Patch♥
He's got a gingerbread cookie in his mouth!
Gingerbread House ♥
We built our gingerbread house today ♥
It was a bit tricky...the cookie pieces were heavy and the icing wasn't holding it well.
At one point I had to put it in the fridge to harden a bit.
And on top of that the icing bag exploded ...so we had to apply with a spoon.
It was definitely a Monday...
The kiddos had fun (and so did I!).
The gingerbread house crumbled soon after though and it just wasn't working...
I saw other people on social media who bought the same set and had the same problem.
Maybe next time I'll use actual hot glue to hold the pieces together.
(And of course we wouldn't eat it in that case)
Believe it or not, this was our first gingerbread house!
Definitely doing it again next year ♥

Nighttime Carousel & Train ride ♥
It was very cold out...but it meant shorter lines and less crowds.
The kids enjoyed a ride on the carousel and a train ride ♥
We found Santa's house under the Christmas Tree!
(They aren't looking at the camera because they're distracted by the carousel)

I secretly video-taped Luka talking and playing with one of our advent calendars.
We've been watching youtube videos of other people opening their calendars too...so you can hear him say things like "Welcome back to my channel", and referring them to "Figurines", and giving a review of each toy. This is so darn cute !

2016 Christmas Advent Calendar - Day 9 ♥

New squish face !
So Luka started with his 'monster face' again.
He likes to pull down his cheeks and look at himself in the mirror.
He calls it the monster face and laughs.
So I decided to teach him a new face...
This is the 'squish face'.

And I wanted to share my tsum haul form last week...which was Finding Nemo!
I only grabbed the cute ones.
The kids love it and...yes, so do I!
Darla might be my favorite.
It's cold outside !
A beautiful sunny day but boy was it cold!!
We are headed to the asian store for some groceries.
I rarely make this trip anymore by myself because it's not a friendly parking lot..
The spaces are small which makes it hard getting the kids in and out,
And managing three kids through the small aisles in the store? Forget it!
But I was feeling good today and it was still early so I decided to go for it!
Balloon art?
These are balloons from my Birthday last month...The helium wore off so they slowly started to fall down. They each claimed a balloon and drew on it.
