Painting our craft pumpkins!

Instead of a real pumpking (too messy for me....) we bought some craft pumpkins for the kids to either paint on or carve if they want to.
Milo and Luka decided to paint theirs.

Even Daddy joined in on the fun!
He carved out a Jack Skellington pumpkin!

Halloween Crafts!

We are so excited for Halloween!
We got some fun crafts--Here we made some Halloween bracelets♥

Some Halloween blank books for drawing.

They had fun making these faces.

We found some silly hats♥

These were little plastic sheets you can color and when you bake them they shrink and harden and can be made into keychains.
Luka decided we should make them into tiny ornaments instead and but them on a black Tree!

I get so excited when I see Halloween decor.

Milo was so excited to see this giant Jack Skellington at Target today.

Jedi Camp--Luka♥

This week Luka started a new summer camp--Jedi Junior's Camp.
It's Star Wars themed and this was the camp he chose.
He loved it and so did I--It was easier getting errands done with one less kiddo.

They did all kinds of crafts and activities.
Looks like they made a DeathStar (?) and a Light Saber.

While we were waiting for pick up, Kai decided to swing on this tree and I caught the moment he slipped!  He's ok--just fell on his butt.  But you can see the panic in his face !

Gingerbread House ♥

We built our gingerbread house today ♥

It was a bit tricky...the cookie pieces were heavy and the icing wasn't holding it well.
At one point I had to put it in the fridge to harden a bit.

And on top of that the icing bag exploded ...so we had to apply with a spoon.
It was definitely a Monday...

The kiddos had fun (and so did I!).
The gingerbread house crumbled soon after though and it just wasn't working...
I saw other people on social media who bought the same set and had the same problem.
Maybe next time I'll use actual hot glue to hold the pieces together.
(And of course we wouldn't eat it in that case)
Believe it or not, this was our first gingerbread house!
Definitely doing it again next year ♥
