It was 'teacher conference day' at Kai's school so he had the day off.

Toy hunting♥

I've been on the hunt for some toys...

And with my recent love for Narwhals, I've been on the hunt for the Mr. Narwhal character from the Christmas movie "Elf" ♥

(It might be our favorite Christmas movie so far)

Luckily I found it at Toys R Us and Milo fell in love with it...and pretty much claimed it for himself.

That was a nice surprise♥

I also found some new toys for myself...

I found some Japan-inspired characters in Funko Pop form.

Decided to get them as a way to embrace my Japanese side♥

Plus, they're super cute...and were on sale! 

Advent Calendars!!

The advent calendars we got last year were so much fun, I decided to get everyone another calendar this year!  Instead of Lego and toys...I got everyone a 12 day Sock advent calendar!

(Even James got one....and myself....)

We open them in the morning as we are getting ready for school so...you may notice some bed head...

The kids love it! (And so do I♥)

Makes our mornings extra hectic too but it's part of the fun!

a giant Santa!

We found a giant Santa display at the art store!

Luka was asking if his name was on that list he's holding.

"Maybe" I told him.  "If you're good, your name will be on that list!"

 I picked up some Santa hats for the kids.

I want to take some Christmas photos with them♥

I was gonna get them all Santa hats but of course, Luka wanted to be the unique one.

He picked himself an Elf hat....

Middle child syndrome..needs all the attention ^_^

And for myself, I picked up a few ornaments.

I'm all about narwhals these days! And unicorns.

I see unicorns everywhere but Narwhals are really special...

They are the unicorns of the sea...Aaaah they are so cute!!! ♥♥

It's Milo's current fave and he takes him everywhere!

He likes to give him hugs and kisses!

He put him on the snail and he's walking him...so cute!

He even brings him along to Preschool drop-off.
