IKEA...♥

It's been a long time since we visited IKEA but I had something I desperately wanted, so we made a trip on Saturday.  This was Luka's first time at IKEA. 

They also have the $1 frozen vanilla yogurt after check-out so I bought one to share with Kai.

He was loving it!

It's the HELMER cabinet.

Since I only have a table, not an actual desk, I needed to get a cabinet to fit under the table for organizing.  This is perfect!!

I bought a miniature baguette and had Kai hold it up to his face for comparison.

Both Luka and Kai easily fall asleep on car rides...still.

パンが可愛かったからカイの顔とサイズを比べてみた。

車乗るたびに寝る二人です。

So lately Kai has been hooked on the old (now cancelled) kid's tv show, "blues clues"!

It's about a blue dog who leaves his paw marks on different objects which are 'clues'.

The host of the show keeps a 'handy dandy notebook' with him to jot down the clues.

So I made one for Kai and he loves it!  He keeps his own pen with it and I hide clues around the house for him the night before.

My hair is getting LONG!

...I got these at H&M!!  They were like 3 bucks!

Kai loves them..he tells me how cute they are and he gives them kisses.

Luka is being 'scolded' by Kai but he's having fun.

We have this Dino pillow that he likes to play with.

nightly bed jumping...!

These days, bed jumping is the 'thing' between these two.

Almost every night before their bath they do some jumping just like this.

My mom was lying on the floor, taking a break from playing with the kiddos and Luka crawled over and lied down next to her.   He snuggle right up to her and it was the cutest thing ever!

These were $4 on clearance at Target...I love a good deal!

Plus at this age they grow out of them so fast.

These are his first shoes...mainly because his feet are so chubby I couldn't get them to fit into a shoe until now.  He loves them.  I think he feels like a big boy!

couch potato ♥

So I bought this new pillow thing at Target because it was on sale and I'm most certain this will help with my pregnancy and for when I'm breastfeeding baby #3.

Well...Luka took over my pillow and I'm pretty sure he thinks it's for him.

He rolls over on it and just smiles at you.

He can have it for now but in a few months I'm taking it back!

でもルカは自分のまくらだと思ってるみたい！

今は使っていいけど、あと数ヶ月したら返してもらいますよ～

I'm so nervous about this post but here it goes!

This is a 12 week scan of....baby #3 ♥

I'm finally starting to feel better.

Morning sickness was awful this time around, coupled with our 90+ degree weather.

I'm still having a hard time with my appetite and I'm constantly tired.

I'm hoping it gets better now that we hit 12 weeks.

Our due date is 1/29/2016.

3ヶ月に突入しました。

ルカと初の外食。

So this was Luka's first time eating out at a restaurant.

We went to a Pancake House.

I thought they both did pretty good!

Kai was busy with the crayons and coloring and Luka brought his favorite cars.

Once the food got here things got better.

Kai kept telling me how "delicious" his meal was ♥

ルカの外食デビューです。

混まない時間を狙って行きました。

ルカはおもちゃで遊んで、カイはクレヨンでお絵かき。

Then food coma set in...Luka was looking pretty tired at the end.

食べ終わった頃にはルカが超眠そうだった。

カイはいつも以上に食べた感じがした。

これでまた外食が出来るね♥

最近ルカはお兄ちゃんから全然離れません。

同じ事ばかり。真似をしたり、同じおもちゃと遊んだり、食べる時も一緒な物じゃないとダメ。

いつも側にいる。

Lately Luka is attached to his brother.

He plays with the same toys, copies Kai and even wants to eat the same things.

Otherwise he'll throw a fit!

Luka is always sticking close to Kai.

ゆっくり時間をかけて食べてた。

And now here's Luka savoring his last piece of watermelon.

He takes his time so it lasts!

Watermelons have been a hit and miss this year but this particular one was really sweet and juicy!

Oh, and that's grandma in the background making noise.

We were watching SASUKE, the original (American) Ninja Warrior.

He chowed down the rest but when it comes to the last piece, he savors it!

I guess he doesn't want his meal to end.

It's that time again!

The back and sides were starting to get too long so daddy trimmed it last night!

The iPad works as the perfect distraction.

後ろと横が伸びてきたのでパパがカットしてくれました！

Luka is curious.

Kai has some weird curly, wavy hair so it's hard to style it at home.

We just finished making some Lego sets.

Currently the Showecker Family is on a Lego binge...

We are hooked!

Every month they have a 'pick a model' that you can buy for $4!

Last month was the airplane.

This month is the jeep and alligator!

This is our Lego family.
