カイの誕生日は21日！でも日曜日にケーキとプレゼントを開けました。

風船もたっぷり！

Kai's 3rd birthday is on Tuesday but we decided to have a small celebration on Sunday!

I prepped plenty of balloons!

this year I went ahead and ordered a birthday cake from the Japanese bakery.

Pumpkin patch ♫

gotta admit, we were a bit unprepared...DEFINITELY need to wear boots next time.

the muddy ground left Kai with muddy shoes and pants. 

it was a good thing I had extra clothes packed. 

lots of pumpkins at the farm!

but like I said, it was pretty muddy and messy...so we ended up not getting a pumpkin.

then about 10 minutes later we experienced the craziest downpour!

it rained so hard I was soaked!

子供たちも喜んでた！

カイは特にコリラックマ（白いくまちゃん）がお気に入り。

so this is Rilakkuma--a Japanese character from Sanrio (I believe).

He's been my favorite for a few years now and I've always wanted to get a stuffed doll of him!

well, I finally decided to purchase online and voila, he's pretty big!

Kai really loves the white one, KoRilakkuma♥

for scale, you can see they're pretty big. 

about as big as Luka!

Kai decided to be a Panda bear this year!

he picked it out himself and it got delivered today.

We tried it on and it looks good--fits great!

ママはハロウィーンの大ファン！

昔から好きだけど、子供がいるとより楽しくなった感じがする♥

今年も迷ったけど、ルカはカイが最初に着てたプーさんのTiggerに決めました。

so Halloween is around the corner and I'm getting so excited!

I've always loved halloween but with kids it's even better.

So I went ahead and pulled out Kai's old Tigger costume just to see if Luka would fit.

YUP! he fits! looks like he'll be Tigger this year.
