DOCHI!!!!!

What is this you ask?

This is a Dochi....a cross between donuts and mochi!!

This shop just opened up here in Seattle so I decided to go early on a weekday with Milo.

And we still had to wait in line...

Milo was very patient and we had fun waiting in line♥

My official taste tester...

Milo approves!

It tastes just like a donut but with mochi texture/consistency.

The flavors depend on the day but on this day we got matcha oreo, glazed and taro pebbles.

Honestly, they were all delicious♥

Chalk Art festtival

Heading to the Town Center!

Here they  have an annual Chalk Art Fest.

The finished art is really cool.

But this was the first day so not much has been drawn yet.

Got some treats for the kiddos.

From last week, when we had clear skies and sunny days.

Right now we're dealing with hazy, smoky air once again.

The sun is red and it's so eerie.

こちらでは6月7日は「ドーナッツの日」なんです！

そこで近所にある人気のドーナッツ店、"KRISPY KREME" に行って来ました。

毎年この日はドーナッツをただで貰えます！

June 7th was national donut day!!

of course we went to Krispy Kreme and got one♥

these are Kai's first pair of shoes he got from Auntie Erika♥

秋ですね～

i started researching for a delicious Japanese pastry shop for Kai's upcoming birthday cake.

I've decided where to get the cake♥  here i am enjoying their tiramisu

今月はカイのバースデー！

Bellevueにある日本風ケーキ屋さんでケーキを注文する予定です。

この日はフミエさんのティラミスをいただきました。

Top Pot in Redmond?!!? 

そして近所には新しいドーナッツ・カフェができました～

これも美味しかったよ～

そして今夜は手作りコロッケ。

なんだか食べ物ばっかりの更新になっちゃったね。
