BUSY SUMMER Part 21

That time we went to Chalk Fest and saw amazing chalk art.

Some were in 3D.

This one looked awesome!

I was stoked to see World Market carrying a Hello Kitty Matsuri collection.

Seeing all these old school Sanrio characters takes me back to the 90's!!

Milo fell in love with Keroppi, or what he called "silly baseball frog guy".

Milo LOVES Lego People!

I had a date with Milo and we went to the book store.

He picked out a LEGO book and wanted to build him so we hung out at the outdoor mall.

This is one of my favorite places to hand out with the kids.

An outdoor mall (which I feel is rare in this area) and a splash pad!

The kids love it here!

A police offer walked by and we said hi!

He was nice enough to give the kids a police badge sticker!

How cool♥

Splash!

It hit 80 degrees and it was time for some splashing!

Auntie met up with us later and we had fun hanging out with her too!

Story Time

We decided to try a new Story Time at a local book store.

They loved it!

Some reading, singing and dancing. 

Perfect for their ages.

The theme was "Bugs and Insects" this week so they got a spider stamp!

The fountains were turned on!

But still too cold to play in.

Chalk Art festtival

Heading to the Town Center!

Here they  have an annual Chalk Art Fest.

The finished art is really cool.

But this was the first day so not much has been drawn yet.

Got some treats for the kiddos.

Books + Exploring

The kids completed a reading program done through Half Price.

They received some bookworm bucks ($5) and they each picked out a book!

We found these giant chairs!

It's been 80+ degrees all week!

Lately, when I ask them to say "Cheese!" Milo gives me the kissy face.

(And check out that hair...looks like a style from the 70s!)

It was Free Comic Book day last Sunday!

I thought we were getting 1 free but each person gets 3 free!
