Getting some Pho take-out!

Made some library cards.

They have a few computers for kids to play educational games, etc.

Waiting for the Disney event to start.

Every summer they host a Summer Play Days event where they hold a small event, free for all kids.

Usually you get something free.

This year they are giving out Patches!

Here's what they've collected so far.

We are in a midst of a heat wave.

We're close to 50 days straight of NO RAIN...which is absolutely crazy.

The grass is turning brown...Our top floor is so hot, it's difficult to sleep.

I miss the rain but I love the hot summer too.

We met up in downtown and grabbed some delicious sandwich + soup at my new favorite place...

An all organic sub shop called 'Homegrown'.  

I also tried their latte and it was quite good.

Disney Store ♥

Last week we went on a quick trip to the Disney Store!

(They released a new tsum tsum bag set and I had to get it...)

We went straight after dropping off Kai at school...so we were there just as they opened!

The Disney store is pretty awesome--It feels like I'm back at Disneyland...and they even have a fun play area for kids!

Yep...Mommy made a purchase.

Auntie Erika came along!

I also went to the Lush store and bought a couple of fun bath bombs for the kiddos!

Disney Store Summer Play Days ♥

So this summer, all Disney Stores are doing a 'Summer Play Days' event! ♥

The event varies and after each event we get a free Tsum Tsum bracelet--Plus the kids love visiting the Disney Store.

This day, it was Trivia Day!  The kids didn't really understand the questions and what was going on, so it was funny seeing them raising their hands when they didn't know the answers...And Luka was basically copying whatever Kai was doing, so he especially didn't know what was going on!

At one point the Disney 'cast member' calls on Luka but he doesn't answer of course...

It was so funny and cute♥

Kai never liked to wear them so I assumed Luka wouldn't either...I was wrong!

I also bought a new tsum tsum... Pluto!

Milo loves it♥

And on a separate day, I ordered online a Baymax beanie hat for Kai.

Kai LOVES 'Big Hero 6'.  The main robot character is named Baymax.

I don't think the movie was too popular, so I found this beanie on sale.

It's reversible--armored Baymax and Baymax.

I have a feeling he'll be wearing this all winter!

Luka saw us taking pictures so he brought his own 'hat'.

He insisted I take pictures....

The first one is actually Milo's bib...and the second one is a Dino (Arlo) stuffed toy....

Froyo Date + Disney store ♥

We all shared a kid sized Red Mango froyo...with strawberries and oranges.

Earlier we attended the Disney Store's 'Summer Play Days' Event.

All summer they're giving out free Tsum Tsum bracelets!

This week we got Otter (Otterton from Zootopia I think) and Lumiere (from Beauty and the Beast).

Snowflake Lane 2014...♥

This year was the 10th Anniversary of the Snowflake Lane♥

I swear it gets more crowded year after year...

Again, I was too short and couldn't see the parade.

But it was festive and very pretty!

Kai didn't seem to enjoy it though...I think it was too loud.

Kai wasn't having it...

 

Kai loves the Disney store at the mall.

We spent a good half hour or so there, watching disney shows on their giant screen.

I was browsing around when I found this!

A Wall-E plush doll!

They never carry Wall-E goods!  

It was $10 so I decided to get it anyway...and turns out it was only $5!
