My Fashionista♥

Awww I just love this guy!

He picked out his outfit and hat and everything and I love this look!

And really, he's rocking the long hair.

I ask him a few times a week about his hair.

He tells me he likes his long hair and doesn't want to cut it.

So there.... I feel like people out there probably think I'm growing it out for him but nope, HE decides.  And the day he says he's ready to cut it, I will make that appointment.

Urban Warriors (Parkour) Fall 2019

Yes I signed him up again and yes he wanted to do it again!

Both Kai and I enjoy this class.

I love watching him and it's so great they do different things every class/season.

This season there's a lot of emphasis on Teamwork which I love!

He still wears his parkour shirt, his parkour wristband and on his first class they got a their own masks!

So Stephen King's IT chapter 2 movie is out now...and I'm a fan!

I enjoy the scaaaary films but haven't read the actual book..

I didn't realize it was this thick!

Even Milo thought it was a 'crazy big book!'

Milo just refers him as "The Scary Clown Guy"

I bought this figurine because I'm genuinely a fan but Milo think it's just a silly clown toy.

He loves to draw now!  

This is a family portrait...but somehow 1 person is missing. Not sure who..

He still loves LEGOS!

Every now and then I'll buy him a LEGO figure mystery bag and he gets excited to find out who it is!

This time is was Dale from Chip n Dale♥

And he loves his Forky (from Toy Story 4)

We found a mustache sticker in our sticker book so...why not put it on like a mustache?

FIRST DAY of Preschool!

And of course Milo had his first day of Preschool too!

He started a week after the big boys.

I like that he wants to be a 'good swimmer' when he grows up!

Those summer pool lessons left an impact on him!

I was worried at first because he seemed worried and nervous about his first day.

But he was totally fine!

And the first day was exhausting for him--we went home and he took a nap right away.

Another haircut!

Kai grew his hair out all summer.

I let him do whatever he wants with his hair but it got pretty long and he has thick wavy hair.

It's hard to style.

He ended up wearing his hat a lot and he finally asked to get a haircut.

I must say...he looks great!

It's so hard to get a good photo with ALL the kids looking or smiling.

But this was the best take.

Meet your Teacher day!

Before School officially starts, there's a "Meet your Teacher Day!"

Luka starts Kindergarten this year and I can't believe it.

I was anxious and nervous when Kai started Kindergarten but with Luka, he's just so excited and I have no worries.

We brought our school supplies and Luka completed a short scavenger hunt.

He even found his desk!

Kai is starting 2nd grade...unbelievable!

This is the first time he gets his very own desk!

(Kinder and 1st they share group desks)

Milo is so happy to be there with him!

Nature Journaling

So my sweet Luka decided he wanted to go 'Nature Journaling" on a Saturday.

I think he was inspired by his Preschool. (They would often hike to the creek and draw/make observations)  

On this day there was construction happening all over the park so we decided to go further into the woods and find a creek to do some journaling.

We were greeted by several ducks.

.....quack!

Kai explored too and tried to do some rock skipping.

It was hard finding the perfect rock.

I also treated them to a cookie at a nearby coffee shop.
