School is open again!

So one of the giant icicles fell off and Daddy brought it in for the kids to see!
So cool!

School was cancelled for 2 days but on Wednesday School was open!
We dropped off Luka at his preschool♥

So much snow still left!

Sunny + Snow = Beautiful♥♥

Milo fell asleep on me...
He might be getting a cold?

Snow day errands with Milo

I went running errands with Milo♥
Here he is riding the shopping cart!

Then we went to Costco to get some necessities.
Stocking up for the impending 2nd snow storm!
The best part is the free food samples we get.

It's so pretty when there's snow on the ground and the sun is out at the same time!
I would love Colorado....

SNOW DAY #2!! (Icicles)

It's day 2 and school is cancelled again!
Temperatures were below freezing last night so lots of ice!

Look at these icicles!!!

And I got to wear my snow boots!

"My store is open!"

Milo loves his register toy.
Now he pretends to have his own bakery shop.

SNOW!!!!

Look what we woke up to!
Weather report told us to expect about an inch... well well...we got more than that!

We woke up early and found out school was cancelled.
Besides, I couldn't drive in this snow!
(We have lots of hills around us...we live on a plateau)
Milo finally got to experience his first snow at 3 years old!

So excited!!!

We had a fun morning!
Snow was still falling.
Interesting thing though...we usually get heavy wet snow but this was POWDER snow!
It was hard to build a snowman.

Pre-snow weather report

the PNW never gets solid snow...once every few years maybe.
And even then, it's just yucky slushy snow.
Well, we started to get some snow Sunday evening!
Weather reports were predicting nothing big...like only 0-3" at most...

Milo kept checking the window all evening.
Come to think of it, Milo hasn't experienced a snowy winter yet!

Luka Doodles

My little artist!
I found some googly eye stickers so I got them.
Luka immediately pounced on them and started doodling.

So the story goes... The little guy with the red glasses (and lashes) is Luka.
The two big guys next to him are statues!
and the small guy at the top...well that's daddy!

Speech Diploma

Hooray!
Look who got a Speech Diploma!
Kai completed his speech therapy♥
He started when he was 3 from speech delay.
So happy for you!

Lunch date and impromptu movie!

We decided to join some friends for MOD pizza lunch!
Always a good spot for lunch.

Some of Luka's friends invited us to a movie.
Milo doesn't sit through a movie yet so I decided to drop off Luka.
Meanwhile, Milo LOVED the "yellow chocolate guy" in the theater lobby♥

At pick-up, we hung out in the arcade area for a bit.
I let them pick a capsule toy.
O, and the movie turned out to be a bit emotional at the end so can you tell Luka's eyes are a bit red?
Yep....he cried a little.

DUCKS!

Ran into some ducks while running errands on Saturday!
Awwww it was a girl and boy duck.
We had just picked up a DIY kit from Home Depot and I think the ducks thought that it was food...
They kept following the kiddos around.

Phone call!

Milo's been pretending to make phone calls lately and it's cute.

Hello~!!

sculpture!

Back in downtown.
They wanted me to take a picture by the giant statue.
Couldn't get the statue in the photo....

We stopped by a cute paper store and we found these silly finger puppets.

Dentist time!!

It's that time again!
The kiddos had their cleaning appointment♥

Coolest dentist ever!
The kids got balloons and a token to buy a capsule toy.
And no one had cavities--HOORAY!

Coffee shop / bookstore date♥

After storytime we grabbed a treat and the kids played with stickers.
Daddy took Kai to basketball practice so I decided to go out withe the littles.

We went for a walk around the trails.

A little coloring after story time♥

Sticker party!

This cool rock mosaic outside.

Exploring!

hello!

Luka's preschool had some fun "fake snow" so during drop-off Milo got to play with it.
He's so excited to start preschool this fall!

Went into downtown to get my eyes checked.
There's a really cool waterfall/fountain that the kids like to look at.

After a stroller walk, Milo fell asleep.
He's literally starting to grow out of the stroller...what will I do??? I love pushing the stroller!!
