Luka is featured !

Kai's preschool posted a photo of Luka at last night's Family Night.

He loved it!

And then....he took a nap ON me that afternoon!

This hasn't happened in a long time.  Boy was he heavy!

Preschool Family Night ♥

Family Night at Kai's Preschool.

It was a little get together for all the students + siblings.

At the end they sang their goodbye song that they sing everyday after class.

Luka was stoked!

He painted forever!

Kai showed off his tree climbing skills!

It was an hour get-together but Luka did NOT want to leave.

O boy...he's a handful these days and especially when he's not ready to leave.

Luka falls asleep a lot in random places...he's still two so naps are still needed.

This day was a miracle!

ALL BOYS fell asleep at the same time...This never happens!

It's not always like this though..sometimes they fight and yell at each other.

They spend the last part of the day outside at their playground.

On this day I decided to kill all the time at Target before picking up Kai.

I let Luka roam around the store.

Yep, Luka still needs to learn manners...

He constantly takes things, throws, pushes, etc.

I'm just glad Kai is patient with him.  Looks like Luka is gonna be a troublemaker.

Milo's baby talk

Trying to get him to talk more...but whenever I put the camera near him he gets distracted and stops laughing/talking.  Grrr...  I need to be more sneaky I guess!

Table set ♥

A table set for the kids!

I've been looking for a long time for the perfect table+chair set for the kids.

I wanted one that was not too small (quickly outgrow) nor too big...(we don't have much space) and I think I finally found my table peace.  Introducing the kids kraft nantucket table set (I think?).

It's a perfect size!  Kai can easily use this for many more years and Luka is still too small for it but he can easily climb up the chairs.  I can even sit on it comfortably.

I built the chairs first and had the table made by the next morning.

The kids woke up to a completed set and were excited!

We've already played with play-doh, drew some doodles, read books and even played a board game on it!  This is officially the new hangout spot!

Luka's nap series !

Every day he fights his sleepy-self.

Normally he takes a nap in the early afternoon...but lately he fights it and insists on staying up!

 Sometimes he'll make it to 7pm and he's out...but usually he ends up falling asleep somewhere.

Play-Doh is super fun but it's even better when you have an ice cream making machine!

They were entertained for about 2 hours.

I got a lot done...cleaning, dishes, etc.

Milo has been experiencing excessive drooling these days...and boy is it entertaining to watch!

I felt around his gums and I didn't feel any teeth...besides, I feel it's still too early.

This heat...!

I'm enjoying wearing Luka on my back lately.  It's like a giant backpack.

He gets tired when we walk too far so I put him on my back.

It's fun for him and a workout for me!

He's so silly...he talks non-stop, constantly asking me questions right by my ear.

I love it!

Too much play made Luka tired and sleepy.

Very scary...

First of all, WE ARE ALL OK!  

I do have a slight bruise on my abdomen from the seat belt and a sore neck but we are all okay!

It was a beautiful sunny day on Thursday and on my way to pick up James from work, we were involved in a 4 car collision.  I was sandwiched between the 1st car and 3rd car.  A 4th car failed to brake and rammed right into us.  It. Was. Scary.  The kids were all asleep and they woke up crying but were all okay.  Milo was even smiling when I checked up on him.  Paramedics also checked on the kids.  

Thankfully we were close to James so he came and met up with us.  We're in the process of dealing with the accident and getting things in order.  Hopefully the stress and headache of this accident comes to an end soon. And I must say, thank goodness for safety car seats.  They did their job!
