Milo Rei was born last Friday♥

He is the smallest baby for us!

1月22日に産まれました！

名前は：マイロ・レイ

体重はカイとルカより小さくてびっくり！

I think he resembles Kai a lot!

カイに似てる感じがする！

And lots of hair!

髪の毛ふさふさ！

My mom is helping us out with the first week--Mmmmm home cooked meals♥

ばぁばが一週間手伝ってくれてます！

ありがとう♥

Pajama Day ♥

Today is Pajama Day (@ Preschool)!!

Kai is wearing his Monsters Inc. PJ's..but it's also raining hard outside so he needs to wear his raincoat.  I hope they have fun today! 

今日はパジャマ・デー！

好きなパジャマを着てプリスクールに通う日。

Since Daddy has the day off, he will be taking Kai to school.

Normally I take both kiddos but Luka will stay home with me this time.

As soon as he figured it out he started crying...He likes to go to school with Kai.

いつもはママが2人連れて行くけど、今日はパパが休みなのでパパが送って行きました。

ルカがそれに気づいたときすぐに号泣。

一緒に行くのが好きなのよね～♥

"Baby Chair" and Baby Name ♥

I can't believe baby #3 is almost here!

We are busy prepping around the house and that includes installing the baby car seat.

We brought it down from our closet and Luka found it immediately the next morning.

"Baby Chair!" he says...

He likes to crawl in it and sit in it but I don't think he realizes it's for a new baby.

いよいよ今月産まれます！

赤ちゃんの準備で忙しい毎日です。

車用のベビーシートもそろそろインストールしなきゃ。

ルカが発見して、「ベビーチェア！」って、大喜び！

自分のイスだと思ってるのかな？

違うよ！これから来る赤ちゃん用だよ♥

It's hard to tell in this picture but when I zoom in...I can see a mustache.

A mustache!!  

I have a feeling Luka will be getting facial hair sooner than Kai!

Also, we finally have a name picked out!!

I'm super excited for it but we will keep it a secret until he comes.

I like to announce it when the baby is actually here so I can have a photo along with it...So we can have a proper introduction.  

I'll admit it was very hard to pick this time around.

Boy names are very hard...and to find a name that can work in both America and Japan.

そしてベイビーの名前も決まりました！

でもまだ産まれてないので秘密です。

写真と一緒に名前を発表したいなと思ってます。

今回は難しかった～...男の子の名前って本当に難しい。

I got the kiddos a mini treat--Annie's organic wheat MINI choco chip cookies.

I decided to give Luka a couple but then he started drooling chocolate???!!!

I made sure to get a photo of the boys BEFORE the chaos and mess of opening presents.

My parents were so awesome--they brought over home-cooked meals over for us.

And instead of driving over to my parents they all decided to come over to our house!

It was nice because being 8 months pregnant, I can do only so much...

From Pa-Paw!

light saber..!

Since the world is all about 'Star Wars' these days, I'm gonna say Luka fell asleep holding his light saber.  He never let it go either!

First Snow...!

We had our first snow on Monday!

Chunky snow that started to stick to the ground for a bit....but sadly it didn't last.

Still exciting though!

There's talk that we MIGHT get some more snow on Christmas Day this year.

A White Christmas?  That would be amazing!

今冬　初の雪が降りました！

少し積もったけどすぐ溶けちゃった。

でもわくわくするね！噂によるとクリスマスの日にも雪が降るかも！

そしたら何年ぶりのホワイト・クリスマスだろう！

Our tree and presents are complete!

It was fun getting gifts for the kiddos this year...and I had some fun getting quirky things for James too.  (He's always hard to find gifts for...but I got creative).

ツリーもプレゼントも全て完成。

もちろんほとんどは子供達へのプレゼント。

もちろんじぃじ、ばぁばなど。

今年特に難しかったのはジェームズ。

でもなんとかいい物見つけたぞ。

Mostly for the kids of course but some are also for my parents, sister, grandmother and we got a lot of goodies from Pa-Paw!

Kai singing songs ♫

Some songs he learned at school.

This is a 'goodbye' song that they sing when class is over.

And I think he learned this Gingerbread Man song last week, just in time for the holidays!

Mommy & Luka Cafe date ♥

Normally we drop off Kai at Preschool and go home...but today there were power outages at almost every street light!  It took forever to get to school!  So instead of going back home, we decided to go to the bookstore and cafe and hang out until Kai's class was done.

We shared a delicious buttered croissant.  And found a few Christmas gifts at the bookstore ♥

Kai's preschool requested a family photo this year so we TRIED this morning.

I thought this first photo was great...until I saw Luka's face....

カイのプリスクールが家族写真をリクエスト。

久しぶりに家族4人で写真を撮ってみた。

一発目で撮れたと思ったら、ルカの目が.....

Tried again... Luka wasn't looking at the camera...

もう一回！

ルカのカメラ目線が外れた！

Tried again..... Luka started crying and fussing and Kai was unhappy...

もう一回....

あ～あ、ルカがついに泣き出した。

カイもがっかり。

Did we finally get a good photo? Well...Luka is crying but hey, I kinda like it ♥

皆良く映ってるけど、ルカが泣き顔。
