Kai is very good with Milo.  He takes it seriously and he's pretty great at holding him too.

Making Japanese Candy ♥

Japanese candy is super fun--You can buy 'candy kits' and make your own candies.  I never got them because I'm pretty strict about giving candy to kids--but I figured Kai is old enough to enjoy some candy now.  I bought a couple at Uwajimaya and this day we decided to make animal soft chew candies.

hee hee, he had fun!  (And yes, so did I! I'm the queen of candy!)

Now that I have a reason to buy these candy kits, I'm going to start buying some whenever I visit Uwajimaya so Kai and I can have a 'candy making' session.  Woo!

Luka's 2nd Birthday ・ルカ2歳になりました♥

Luka turned 2!!

With Mommy still recovering from Milo's birth and since we're still on baby Milo's sleep schedule, we kept Luka's birthday very low-key.  My mom also helped out this week so she was here to celebrate with us!

ルカが2歳になりました！赤ちゃんのスケジュール、そしてママもまだ回復中なので小さなパーティーにしました。ばぁばもたまたまこの一週間お手伝いしてくれたので、ばぁばも一緒の誕生日会。

Thank you for the gifts!  Luka had a good birthday and I think he was most happy about the cake♥

He's such a great older brother.  He loves his baby brother and that makes me so happy ^_^

Luka is still adjusting to having a baby brother around.  He gives Milo kisses but I think he knows he's no longer the 'baby' of the family.

I found this robot backpack in our closet--I had forgotten about it and had originally purchased it for Kai when he was smaller.  But Kai was never into 'wearing' backpacks...so I showed Luka and he got excited! "school!" he says. 

I let him wear it and he didn't take it off all day.

Our house is a bit of a mess these days...our temporary changing station is on the dining table.

Last Friday Kai brought home a bag full of Valentine's goodies from Preschool!

Park ♫

Went to the park today--it was so warm out I think we went over 60 degrees!

Kicked the soccer ball around a bit before hitting Uwajimaya (Japanese supermarket).

Doctor's Appointment

Milo had another doctor's appointment on Friday, and we had to haul all 3 kiddos along with us.

Luckily, the waiting room has plenty of toys and a fish tank so they waited outside while I stuck with Milo.  It was apparently a very busy day so we waited a long time before the doctor came to see us.  Milo ended up falling asleep in the room.

Here's the car seating situation now...Kai has moved all the way to the back!

Busy Days !

First off, here is Luka with spaghetti sauce all over his face.

He's a very messy eater...

Milo is still small enough that I can bathe him in this small tub in the kitchen!

It helps me out since I don't have to squat during my recovery.

He loves it by the way...very calm during the bath.

The kiddos have been enjoying some time with Daddy.

On this day, the trio walked over the the nearby grocery store in the rain--It was quite the adventure for the kiddos...and for James too!

This was for Milo's first Pediatrician appointment last week.

I see a little bit of Luka as well.  I can't wait to see how he looks when he's older!
