Sanctuary Farm

We visited a local Sanctuary Farm!

Animals who are given a second chance...many were unwanted or injured or abused and at this sanctuary farm, they get a second chance.  We are allowed to bring food to feed them.

We brought apples and carrots!

Afterwards we went to the Farmer's Market and had some delicious ice cream!

Mind you, this was our hot day.  90+ degrees!

I recently returned from my San Francisco trip!

I went with my sister( whom STILL hasn't sent me the photos we took...)

here are the different ways kai has been helping mommy hold the milk bottle.

いろんなボトルの持ち方をするかいちゃん。

this is the one handed hold.

これは片手で一緒に持ってくれてるかいちゃん。

this is the double handed hold.

これは両手で一緒に持ってくれてるかいちゃん。

and this is the ultimate ONE FINGER hold!

帽子タイム！

やっと帽子をかぶるようになったぞ！

いつもはイヤがってちょっと泣いちゃうの。

so kai wouldn't wear a hat for the longest time.

you can tell he hates it...sometimes he'll start crying.

BUT i finally got him to wear one! it's a cute blue beanie with ears on them.

(hmm..can't really see the ears)

そして見て見て！

ボトルも自分の手で持とうとしてる！キャワイイ！！

he also tries to hold his own milk bottles now!

hehehe i still have to hold it up for him though.
