kids workshop

Daddy came with us this time to Home Depot's Kids Workshop!

I hung out with Milo while they worked on this month's project--a wooden fishing game!

You also get a pin when  you participate.

I thought Milo was too young for it but a sweet girl gave him a kit and he got his very own pin♥

Now he's just like his brothers!

He got his own apron with his very first pin♥♥

Luka's Soccer !

Luka's soccer classes started!

He was so excited for it and had been waiting patiently for class to start.

The first day was a chilly rainy morning though...

Even Kai and Milo cheered him on!

Now that summer break is in session, I bring all 3 kiddos to my workout classes.

We made it back to the splash park on a hot day!

Luckily our second week of swim class was sunny!

Milo had the kiddie pool all to himself again.

I signed the kids up for another 2 weeks of swim class.

We're supposed to have another amazing week of sun so it should be fun!

Lake Park!

Decided to spend some time at the beach.

Sand toys galore!

We ran into two of our friends this day.

We ended up playing for over 3 hours!

It was a long day....

new park!

We explored a new park this past week.

It was a bit chilly in the morning but the kids loved it and wanted to be back on a warmer day.

They have a water splash area that we need to try out!

The trail that leads us to the park.  

It's a bit of a hill and a walk but this park quickly became a favorite of mine!

Dangling feet

Kai found one of my fake glasses.

He told me he feels smart with them one.

He likes to read books with them on as well.

So this happened...

James was spending some one-on-one time with Luka.

Luka got to talking about "Yokai Watch", a Japanese cartoon.

He's seen a few episodes on Netflix and proceeds to explain the show to James.

Milo tries the pool!

The first week of swim class was...chilly.

We had cloudy, cool weather..but the second week got better!

We had some sun and even hit the 80s!

I decided to put Milo in the kiddie pool while Kai and Luka were in class.

Milo loved it!

It was his first time in a deep pool and he was mesmerized by it.

He figured out floating!

I think he was weird-ed out by it.  

He kept floating his legs up and laughing to himself.

Just Dance ♫

We got the 2018 Just Dance game for the Nintendo Switch (Psst...it was on sale!!)

I've always loved this game and the kids are at the age where they can enjoy it as well.

It's so cute seeing little Milo try it out too!

And at one point I start singing one of the songs and Milo tells me "Stop it mommy!"

Milo--thrillseeker!

So we have this rocking toy...

Milo started rocking back and forth and he was rocking pretty hard.

A few times it looked as if he was gonna fall backwards...so I started filming!

Hilarious....!!!

Farmers Market!

We joined our friends at the Farmers Market!

We bought lots of fresh berries!!

First week of Swim class for Summer 2018!

Well, outdoor swim classes have started up again and I signed up lessons for Kai and Luka.

Instead of a morning class (which I'm used to) I signed up for a late afternoon class--a 4:30 session.

Luka had summer camp the first week so mornings didn't work out for us.

Needless to say, what a schedule!  

The first week was super hectic with summer camp, playdates, my workout classes and a late afternoon swim class.... I'm ...exhausted...!

Can you tell they're excited?

The first week was also dreary/gloomy weather.

It's called the "June Gloom" here in the PNW.

Thankfully they keep the pool quite warm.  

But still, once they exit the water it's COLD!

For some reason, towards the end of the day my kiddos will get a second wind and just burst out with energy.  Same with post-bath.  They get super hyper and loud and energetic.

Reminds me of my dog...she used to run around the house like crazy after a bath.
