We attended a birthday party last weekend.

It was perfect weather!

But we had such a great group of moms/dads and kiddos at Luka's preschool that we decided to set up our own Summer playdate schedule♥

Normally Kai is in school all day long but he was able to join in on the fun.

This is from 2 weeks ago--we went to pick Kai up for his last day of school.

Kai came running off the bus and gave me a hug!

Kindergarten Promotion!

Kai had his Kindergarten Promotion on Tuesday and we were invited to a concert!

This was the cutest thing I've ever seen♥

Back in the classroom Milo was dancing around and Kai showed us his cubby.

That's exactly 30 years after I graduated high school...

Anyways, thank you to Kai's teacher for being so great♥

Afterwards we took the kids out to celebrate--at a restaurant!

We rarely eat out so the kids were excited♥

The reason we don't eat out a lot is ...well...because of this guy.

I feel like he's still too young to sit for a long time.

This day too, he was fidgety.  He even managed to spill my drink all over the table...

See??  It's not just a pizza...it's a FLYING pizza...

Congratulations Kai!

You are now officially a First Grader!!!

Milo's current favorite, 'Paw Patrol'!  His favorite character is Rubble.

We found a giant 'Paw Patrol' coloring pad at the art store.

He was so excited--he carried the pad all over the store by himself.

We weren't water-ready this day but we watched people paddle board on the lake.

We enjoyed another beach day!

But this time they were building 'something' on the entire sandy area...

Turns out there's a beach volleyball tournament happening this week.

Luka didn't enjoy the feeling of sand on his feet...

Luka was excited to receive his very own mail today!

Happy B-Day Milo?!?

No, it's not Milo's birthday.  But James recently had his birthday so Milo was inspired!

I had the (big) kids write a few thank you notes to their teachers since the end of the school year is nearing.  Milo decided he wanted to write in a card too but instead of a Thank you note it's a Birthday card for himself!

He started saying "Happy Birthday Milo" but whenever I tried to record it he would only whisper it.

It took a few tries but I finally caught him saying "Happy Birthday Milo"

So I started a Mommy workout class -- specifically for moms with children in tow.

We bring our kids and workout!

The gym also has a toddler play area which Luka is too old for but he'll go play sometimes.

He's clearly too big for this 'car' ♥

We rarely go out to eat but when we do, Luka gets SOOOO excited!

He's such a foodie!
